TalkmerePrivacy policy
Short version
Talkmere does not collect, transmit, sell or share your data. Your conversations are read and converted inside your browser and saved only where you save the file.
The extension
- What it reads: the conversation on the page you have open on chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com or grok.com – only when you use the Talkmere popup. It does not read other sites, your browsing history, passwords or cookies.
- Where the data goes: nowhere. The file (Markdown, HTML, JSON, Word, PDF) is created on your device and saved with a normal browser download. Talkmere has no server.
- Network: the extension pages are blocked from network access by their Content-Security-Policy (
connect-src 'none'). The only network request Talkmere can make is optional: with Include images turned on, it re-loads the images that the chat page already shows, from the same addresses, to put them into your file. - Stored on your device: your license key (if you enter one) and the chats you add to the collection, in the extension's own browser storage. Uninstalling the extension deletes them.
- Data exports you import (ChatGPT or Claude
conversations.json) are read in memory and are not stored or sent anywhere. - No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no remote code. All code is in the package that the store reviewed.
- Permissions:
activeTab(to see which chat tab is open when you click the icon) and access to the four chat sites (to read the conversation you export). Nothing else.
The website
talkmere.pages.dev is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no cookies, no analytics and no forms that send data. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Buying Pro
If you order Pro, you send us an e-mail with your order ID and e-mail address and pay with USDT (TRON) or PayPal. We use this only to check the payment, send your license key and answer you, and keep order records as required for accounting. Payments are public on the TRON blockchain or processed by PayPal under their own policies. Your license key contains your order ID and a shortened form of your e-mail (for example bu***@example.com).
Limited use
Data read from the chat sites is used only to create the file you asked for. It is not used for advertising, not sold, not transferred to third parties, and not used to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
