A prompt library with variables and chains

Updated 2026-11-03

Most people retype the same few prompts every week. A small library with fill-in blanks saves that time and makes results more consistent.

Write prompts with blanks

Put a blank in double curly braces: Summarize this for {{audience}} in {{n|5}} bullet points. The part after | is a default. When you use the prompt, Talkmere asks for each blank and puts the finished text into the message box.

Save and use prompts in Talkmere

  1. Open the Talkmere panel → Prompts → + New prompt.
  2. Give it a name and the text. Save.
  3. Click Use, fill in the blanks, click Insert. Check the text and press Send yourself.

Three prompts are free; Pro saves unlimited prompts.

Prompt chains (Pro)

Some tasks work better in steps: outline → draft → review. Put a line with --- between the steps. Talkmere inserts step 1; when the answer is there, click Insert step 2, and so on. Nothing is sent automatically, so you can adjust each step and you never flood the chat site with messages.

Talkmere adds folders, search, bookmarks and a prompt library to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, and saves chats as Markdown, PDF or Word. Free for 5 folders; it runs in your browser – nothing is uploaded.
